Genealogy by the States – Week 45 – Utah
This week’s blogging prompt is the State of Utah. Blog about an ancestor or your families connection to Utah. If you don’t have any connections to Utah, find a Utah resource useful for genealogy research to highlight and write about. This week’s prompt runs from 11/10/2013 – 11/16/2013. If you choose to follow along, I would appreciate a mention to the Hidden Genealogy Nuggets website.

I do not have any family connections to Utah, so I will highlight a resource instead.
The Utah State Archives has a lot of digital records available on-line. When you get to the main menu, click on “Research Our Records”. From there you can click on the “Digitial Archives”. There are various digital record types including;
- Birth Registers
- Death Registers
- Military Death Certificates
- Brand Books
If you have ancestors in Utah, be sure to check out this resource and the ones listed below.
