Genealogy by the States – Week 28 – Texas
This week’s blogging prompt is the State of Texas. Blog about an ancestor or your families connection to Texas. If you don’t have any connections to Texas, find a Texas resource useful for genealogy research to highlight and write about. This week’s prompt runs from 7/14/2013 – 7/20/2013. If you choose to follow along, I would appreciate a mention to the Hidden Genealogy Nuggets website.

My family connection to Texas is a fairly recent connection. Leslie and I are second cousins once removed. She was born in Texas. We are both descendants of Joseph Charles Sanders and Mary Agnes Fraher. She she is likely to be still living, I’ve chosen only to provide her first name and no other details. Hopefully, I will be able to reconnect with her and that line soon. Perhaps she will happen across this blog and reach out to me.
